Tuesday

What! No pictures?!!

It was the last half day there, so instead here are a few interesting links relative to the visit:

One of the goals of this visit to New York was to check out a bookstore Patty found online. It is just ANY bookstore — it's the
Dog Lovers Bookshop. Their midtown Manhattan location has several books and dog goodies. The shop is small; the website has quite a bit more.

Places where we ate:

Time Cafe — We thought the pizzas we ordered were for one person. Yeah sure, but for at least two meals.
Popover Cafe — a favorite. Evelyn calls their specialty "popovers on steroids."
Ye Waverly Inn — good old fashioned "American" food, including a giant chicken pot pie.
Grove — decent Italian food.
Mesa Grill — if you watch cooking shows on Lifetime TV or the Food Network, you may have heard of Bobby Flay, chef/owner.

Information about these and other restaurants were found at Menus Online
