Not the first raceIMG_0839.jpgBut it was the first that we saw. The Portland-Kaohsiung Sister City Association Dragon Boat Races are held during the Portland Rose Festival in June every year. Dianne Rodway and John Becker were members of the Realty Trust Red Dragons, and Tom and Patty had planned to cheer them on, but somehow got the dates wrong and missed the first day. They joined Dianne's mom Jean on Sunday, when the Red Dragons were readying to paddle in the division quarterfinal race.
