The Fiberly Friends are a group sewists and knitters assembled by Patti Ferguson, who share ideas, inspirations, and talk about life in general, through emails. Some live near each other around Chicago, like Patti, Joanna, Sheila, and now Pam for an academic year (spending weekends at home in Indiana). The rest of us live on either coast and in the middle—Peggy in North Carolina, Barbara and Mary in different parts of Pennsylvania, Diane in the San Francisco Bay Area, Mardel in upstate New York, Linda in Maryland, Carolyn in New Jersey, Kathryn in Ohio, and Liana in Nebraska. Liana, Carolyn, Barbara and Mardel have blogs (Mardel keeps up two: sewing and knitting). Pam, Kathryn, Diane, and Peggy post pictures to photo sites. Joanna, Patti, Mary and Sheila, don't have blogs or photo sites but over the past year the Fiberly Friends have been treated to some of their creations. Additionally, Linda is quite a quilt artist.
