Change doesn't always come easily which is why after almost two years Tom and Patty haven't bothered to find a local tax person. Instead it's a good excuse to visit the Bay Area, meet with a few friends, and take care of a few other things.

Staying at a Kimpton Hotel is always a treat, but not always affordable. For this trip, Patty found a great rate at the Cypress Hotel in Cupertino and they didn't disappoint. Fresh cookies, apples, cozy bathrobes and a great staff made for a memorable stay.

Of course, the trip was really all about friends. The weekend began with lunch with Maria Robinson. The next day a lucky call to Ron Solozano found him home and available to meet in Los Gatos for lunch. Unfortunately, the camera didn't make it out of the case for those two meetings, so here are pictures from earlier times.
