Dawn Vanderloo used to work at Apple with Tom. After living in San Diego and Iowa, Dawn lives in her new house near Winter Park, Colorado. The Amtrak trip from Denver provided pretty scenery to precede Patty's visit with Dawn.

The Vanderloo B&B was open for business that weekend. Also visiting, were Dionne and Mitch Giddens, from Tuscon, Arizona (above left), our friend Sean Stewart's mom and stepdad. Dawn's good friend Colleen Souza was spending the week away from her home in upstate New York.

At brunch we enjoyed watching this very cute Golden Retriever puppy. Patty wasn't quite quick enough to catch him as he tried to wrestle the newspaper from his master.
