Sleeping Pups

We arrived about an hour before the next demonstration. This little guy had found himself a comfy place in the grass, and there he lay till the big dogs came out.

We've often said that anything can make a good dog bed — like other pups or a nice round rock.

The pups are all about 7-8 weeks, and are from two litters. The "rock puppy" and the brown pup are from one litter, while the all black and white puppies are from another.

When the sleepy little "rock puppy" woke up, he decided that he was going to try his hand at hearding. According to Neil, this was the first time he had done that — a sign of a good sheepdog in the making.
