Made by Patty

This is a gallery of some knitting projects.

This sweater is a testament to the therapeutic value of knitting. When Patty's father passed away, she began knitting this cable/lace sweater. It was the first sweater she started and finished without putting it down for months (years...).

Knitting with the Pingouin Bourette de Soie yarn was a joy. The pattern was is DKNY Cables and Lace from Vogue Knitting magazine.

Evelyn is modelling a vest made out of some interesting ribbon/mohair yarn. It took two years to figure out just what do with the yarn.
Since Janet Wallin was a knitter, she would clearly appreciate a hand-knit sweater. For her first baby, Caitlin, this is a first attempt at Fairisle knitting. Caitlin isn't a baby any longer, since this was knit circa 1987.

Stanley kindly assisted in the modelling of the sweater.
